Dr CR Rawat sir is known to be one of the first cardiologist of Agra. With an experience of 35 years in Cardiology, Dr CR Rawat has seen cardiology develop in front of his eyes.
After his MD in Medicine, Dr CR Rawat sir went to RML Hospital, New Delhi for his cardiology training. This was the time when there were no echo, and ECG also was done rarely.
Dr CR Rawat sir came back to Agra to serve the population of his hometown, and introduced the first ECHO (Echocardiography) in Agra and first time in West Uttar Pradesh. Dr CR Rawat sir trained many doctors under him in echo, and still trains many doctors in Echo.
Dr CR Rawat went on to become the President of Indian Academy of Echocardiography- Agra Chapter.
After many successful years in Echo and Clinical Practice, Dr CR Rawat sir introduced the first cath lab of Agra at his hospital, Agra Heart Centre. The state of the art cath lab, introduced invasive cardiology in Agra. The first center in Agra to do angiography and angioplasty, BMV, ICD etc was Agra Heart Centre, under the leadership of Dr CR Rawat sir.
Agra Heart Center, has always been on the forefront of new rapid changes in cardiology, with the introduction of new upgradation in their cath lab machine every now and then. It is the only centre in West UP- Agra Heart Centre- to have the CAAS-vFFR system to guide invasive therapy much better. This leads to less stent placement and more affordability to the patient.
